FERMO Brew Acid from AEB is a natural yeast (Lachancea thermotolerans) that produces lactic acid in the early stages of alcoholic fermentation, enabling the production of sour beers via a reproducible and easily controlled fermentation process.

FERMO Brew Acid is a yeast capable of producing high concentrations of lactic acid, the component that characterises the acidic taste of spontaneously fermented beers. 

FERMO Brew Acid is compatible with the use of any type of yeast or traditional production process, making it the ideal yeast for the production of sour beers. 

Unlike lactic acid bacteria, this yeast is resistant to hop acids.
