Phantasm, Thiol pre-cursor powder
Phantasm is a powder derived from freeze-dried Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Marlborough in New Zealand. These grapes are known for their unique flavor and high thiol content.
Phantasm as an adjunct in your beer recipe, can, under the influence of biotransformation during fermentation, provide rich tropical fruit flavors and can enhance the aromas of your hops.
Phantasm is used in the whirlpool and works best in combination with a yeast related to London Ale III that produces B-lyase and fruity esters (like Saturated, Verdant IPA or S-04) or in lager recipes with W-34/70.
