Munich Classic yeast from Lallemand is a Bavarian wheat beer strain. It imparts the fruity, spicy flavour profile typical of German wheat beers. This strain is easy to use in a variety of recipes and fermentation conditions, making it excellent for many traditional styles of wheat beer.
A true top-fermenting yeast, LalBrew Munich Classic™ can traditionally be skimmed from the top of open fermenters. Possible styles include, but are not limited to, Weizen/Weissbier, Dunkelweizen or even Weizenbock.
