ANTIOXIN SB is a complex of two complementary antioxidants that are particularly energetic in guaranteeing the freshness of the beer. During the manufacturing process, the risks of direct oxidation begin as soon as fermentation ends.
Added directly to the beer, ANTIOXIN SB makes it possible to limit or even completely eliminate dissolved oxygen and to protect the finished product from free radicals formed later on. Ascorbic acid oxidizes (instead of the beer) into dehydroascorbic acid, while sulfites help limit the creation of free radicals by pro-oxidants present in the beer (metals and others): the result is a powerful antioxidant without side effects.
