Fermentis HA-18 SafBrew yeast is a blend of dry yeast and active enzymes. It is recommended for the production of particularly attenuated beers, and even for very high gravity fermentation.
HA-18 yeast is recommended for the production of very attenuated beers with very high density musts, such as Barley Wine. The yeast strain in this product can reach 18% alc. v/v, depending on the process and substrate, thanks to its excellent resistance to osmotic pressure and high fermentation temperatures (heat-tolerant yeast).
