Cashmere hop, Yakima Chief Hops®

Released by Washington State University in 2013, Cashmere hops are a descendant of Cascade, with Northern Brewer genetics from the male parent.

Cashmere has a higher alpha acid content than Cascade and twice the humulene, providing a smooth bitterness and a mild citrus aroma.
