Abbaye yeast from lallemand is a top-fermenting yeast of Belgian origin. Selected for its ability to ferment both low and high alcohol beers, Lalbrew Abbaye™ produces the spicy, fruity character typical of Belgian and Trappist beers.

Fermented at high temperatures, the typical flavours and aromas consist of tropical, spicy and banana notes.

At low temperatures, LalBrew Abbaye™ produces dark fruit and dried fruit aromas: sultana, date.
