WHC's Apres Ski yeast comes straight from the Swiss Alps. It produces lagers with a high sessionability. The lagers are generally clean and slightly floral and fruity. With low ester production and good flocculation, it is an excellent option for a home-brewed lager strain.

Strain: Saccharomyces pastorianus, from the Hürlimann brewery in Switzerland.

Beer style: Bock, German Lagers, Helles, Lagers, Pilsner

Dosage: at least 100g per hl of wort for a standard gravity (1.045). The pitch rate is between 100 and 200 g/hl of wort.

Attenuation: 73-80%.

Fermentation range: 16 - 18°C

Nitrogen demand: average

Flocculation : medium 

Alcohol tolerance : 11% vol.
