Fermentis SafAle F-2 yeast has been specifically selected for secondary fermentation in bottles and casks.
SafAle F-2 has been specifically selected for secondary fermentation in bottles and casks. This yeast assimilates very little maltotriose but assimilates the basic sugars (glucose, fructose, sucrose, maltose) and has a neutral aromatic profile that respects the characteristics of the base beer.
SafAle F-2 withstands high alcohol levels (>10% v/v) and provides brewers with all the properties they need for refermentation.

Given the impact of the yeast on the final quality of the beer, it is vital to follow the recommended fermentation process. We recommend that you carry out fermentation trials before any commercial use of our products.
