Refractometer with Brix and Specific Gravity scales. It takes only a few drops to determine the gravity of your wort.
To assess the density of the wort before fermentation (if there is alcohol in the solution, it will not work).
Easy to calibrate.
- Scale 0-32% Brix, reading in 0.2% increments
- Scale from 1.000 to 1.130 SG, resolution 0.005
- Automatic temperature correction 10°C and 30°C
Take note: a refractometer is only to measure sugar levels in wort. As soon as fermentation has started and alcohol is in the sample, the measurement is inaccurate.
